9月16日に引退する歌手・安室奈美恵の、ラストツアーの模様を収めたライブDVD & Blu-Ray「namie amuro Final Tour 2018 ~Finally ~」(5月29日発売)の予約数が、50万枚を突破したことが１２日、分かった。今月3日のリリース発表から、わずか１週間だけの集計による“スピード記録”。ライブDVD初の100万枚突破の可能性が高く、歌姫の勇姿を永久保存したいというファンの思いが、確かな数字となって現れた。 安室の映像作品の過去最多売り上げは、2013年2月に発売した「namie amuro 5MajorDomes Tour 2012~20th Anniversary Best~」の35万枚。ソロアーティストのライブDVD & Blu-Rayの歴代トップだったが、予約の段階で大幅に記録を更新した。
安室の“サヨナラ需要”はまだまだ高まっていくとみられ、歴代ライブDVD & Blu-Ray売り上げトップの嵐「5x10 All the Best! Clips 1999–2009」(09年10月発売)の90.4万枚(DVDのみ）も射程圏内にとらえ、新たな歌姫伝説が誕生しそうだ。
商品は、今月3日の東京ドームでのラストツアー千秋楽、同ツアーの５大ドームいずれかの会場分、昨年9月のデビュー25周年記念沖縄野外ライブの3公演がセットとなり、5パターン（各8800円）で販売される。
